Actress Julianne Moore has a new out—her first actually, and it is a children’s book called Freckleface Strawberry.
Moore mentions in a USA Today article that the book is based on real life experiences from when she was young, and how the kids used to call her “Frecklefaced Strawberry” when she was young.
If you go to the article, you can even see what the young Julianne Moore looked like. The book is about a 7 year old girl who just as a bad case of freckles and needs to learn to live with it.
The article also features a short interview with the, and when asked if she had plans for more books, she said, “I’m hoping it's the beginning of a series with the same character. I have an option for the second book and a draft of the third.”
She also admitted to there being a slight “embarrassment” of being yet another writing a children’s book. But Moore said she wanted to do it because she “loved books as a kid” as well as “loving them now.”
