Her best friend Shannon, aged 11, thinks Christie's hair is beautiful. She is sticking by Christie in her quest to rid ginger hair of its stigma. Christie hopes her hair remains its bright red colour into her adulthood and wants to let everyone with ginger hair know that they should be ginger and proud!
